About Us
We are a group of multi-ethnic Christians who love Christ and His church. Like Paul, we might be timid, and we might not have superiority of speech or wisdom, but we love to know and teach Christ and Him crucified (1 Cor. 2:1-2).
THE CHURCH
The word church can be found in the New Testament about 100 times. That number doubles when you count how many times the church of Christ is referred to as the body of Christ (Col. 1:18). The first time the word church can be found in the Bible is when Jesus said, "I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it" (Matt. 16:18).

It was God's intention that His people be united in belief, teachings, and practices. When the Bible was completed, it was expected that the teachings therein would perpetuate, unaltered, from generation to generation.
The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also."
2 Tim. 2:2.
As individuals, those who followed Christ are known in Scripture as disciples and Christians. As a collection, they are known as the church.
And for an entire year they met with the church and taught considerable numbers; and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch."
Acts 11:26.
SALVATION
When we examine the commandments and examples of the New Testament of Jesus Christ, we see how sinners were transformed by God's grace into the saved body of Christ. We see that one cannot be saved from his sins unless he believes in Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God (Jn. 8:24; Mk. 16:16). The point at which those sins are washed away and forgiven, is when one obeys the commandment to "Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord" (Acts 22:16; 2:38). Baptism also places one in the church/body of Christ, where the saved are (Acts 2:41-47; 1 Cor. 12:13). According to the Bible, someone is not baptized unless he or she is "buried" in water (not a sprinkling or pouring of water [Rom. 6:3-4; Col. 2:12]).

Worship
Christianity would just be another "good works society" if there were not for salvation in Christ and the reverence and worship we show to Almighty God. When we assemble together we glorify God with our hearts, minds, and actions. Because we respect Him, our priority is to please God in our worship, not ourselves. Therefore, to worship in "spirit and truth," as Christ describes, we always consult His word as to how to worship Him (John 4:23-24).

Expect Prayer
A vital source of the Christian’s strength is the power of prayer (Jas. 5:16).

Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."

Expect the Lord's Supper
The Lord’s Supper was instituted by Jesus Himself before His death on the cross (Mt. 26:26-29, 1 Cor. 11:23-26).

On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul began talking to them, intending to leave the next day, and he prolonged his message until midnight."

Expect Singing
Singing is a very important (and beautiful) part of our worship, as it was to the Christians in the New Testament (Eph. 5:19).

Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father."
Colossians 3:16-17.
Expect Bible Study
The Bible is the Christian's source of spiritual food and equipment for Christian living (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 1 Pet. 2:2).

Now these were more noble- minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so."
Acts 17:11.
Expect Financial Giving
The Bible teaches the Christian to give freely and liberally on the first day of the week as God has prospered him or her (1 Cor. 16:1-2).

Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
2 Corinthians 9:6-7.
Expect Fellowship and Love
The family of God is united by blood- the blood of Christ. We love each other, and we love spending time with each other. Though we sometimes fail, we do our best to emulate the love of Christ within and without His family.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God."
